to collect a few Easter-y things to send Elder Andy in a care package.

I opened an umbrella indoors. Impending doom, probably.

technically I'm supposed to wear protective lenses each time I would expose my eyes to the sun.

I have a growth-thing on my eye that will grow with sunlight.

this is the first pair of sunglasses I've had in three years.

I'm slowly gathering the courage to do open mics by myself.

I think I might have had that courage once, but I must have lost it somewhere along the way.

Meanwhile I watch Bend it Like Beckham and Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging
because they're funny, and they make me feel like I understand british humor.

I'm looking for work lately.

I should tell you that I've just discovered Jane By Design and I pretty much love it.

It's funny to me how even though I don't necessarily have a typical fashion sense, let alone high fashion, I love, love, love shows about the fashion world (Ugly Betty, and now Jane, Project Runway, I've also been intrigued to see what Drop Dead Diva is all about...).

So this ensemble was a bit Janey inspired.

I interviewed at ol' Macy's today and this is what I wore:

This skirt is actually one of a kind. An original made by a woman from Buenos Aires, Argentina who my sister taught on her mission there. Lovely isn't it?

The interviewer said her favorite part about working there was the people.

For a perfectly breezy and relaxing day, I need the right clothes to make me feel at home.

So I chose the breeziest, relaxingest clothes I own.

So ridiculously comfortable.

I found a lipstick that was a bit of a lighter purple shade than my almost-black one.

Went to the missionary homecoming of a friend from high school today.

laughed to pieces. I love funny people.

I was told on multiple occasions throughout the day that I resembled Spring today.

I LOVE COLOR.

Brett finished reading the manual for his camera.

So he was camera happy,

and I was happy to let him be.
